James Naismith was inventor and father of basket ball game. He was citizen of Canada, but he worked as sports coach of America. Naismith wrote first basket ball game rules; it does contain 13 different rules. Mani rules are ball might be batted in several directions with one or both hands; if opponent make foul inside the circle or while shoot free throw will taken, game and overtimes shall be present ongoing with a jump ball in the center circle,

When the ball is thrown or batted from the position into the basket and the ball stays presents in the basket then a goal will count. Basic rules of Basketball are measured system and set of laws, which direct the play, tools, officiate and additional procedures connected with the game. The game of Basketball has quite a few rules that the players obey and go behind.

But, there are a few other rules that have are implemented in the game of Basketball by a number of associations. The National Basketball Academy (NBA) from America has a few differences among these basic rules of the game. Some of these rules are, a player may done more than five foul he’s out of the game, and player should triple the ball while in moment.

Basketball was first played in 1891 in Springfield, Massachusetts in the United States. It was in December, when Dr. James Naismith, a Canadian-born physical education professor and instructor at the International Young Men’s Christian Association training school (YMCA- today, Springfield College) was trying to keep his gym class active on a rainy day that he invented this sport. Senda Berenson organized the first women’s collegiate basketball game on March 21, 1893, at Smith College. Her rules were first published in 1899.

In 1932, the International Basketball Federation was formed by eight founding nations: Argentina, Czechoslovakia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Romania and Switzerland. Its acronym was FIBA derived from the French Fédération Internationale de Basketball Amateur.At that time, only amateur players were overseen by the association. In 1946, the Basketball Association of America (BAA) was formed. In 1949, the BAA merged with the National Basketball League to form the National Basketball Association (NBA). Now-a-days NBA is the top most professional basketball league in the world. They give the best salaries, are popular, have a lot of talent and a good level of competition.

Basketball is an easy game for anyone with a good height but even people of short heights have made it to the Hall of Fame on international level. It requires only one ball and a couple of players to make a team and to enjoy the sport. At the present, basketball is the second most popular sport in the world-the first one being football.
