In this, the player is expected to hit a duck on the top of the rock with another rock. Afterwards, he completed his graduation, he was appointed as the Athletic Director of McGill University. Then, in the year 1891, he gave birth to the game basketball.

His intention behind inventing the game was that it could be played inside during the frosty cold winters. He rather wanted it to be an indoor game, which does not rely much on strength, instead develop skills.

Two bench baskets as the goals and a ball used to play soccer was first used to play the game. Later on, he became doctor in the field of sports physiology and still later, became a minister of Presbyterian. His invention of the game of basketball gained popularity worldwide and acceptance by YMCA. In the year 1936, basketball was introduced in Berlin Olympics, and later gained a lot of importance not only as a hobby but also as a profession. Thus, basketball has received a huge fan club only because of Dr. James Naismith.
